"Needs Must When The Devil Drives" is the long-awaited second album from Absolute Power, the heavy metal project founded by vocalist/producer Simon Efemey and Napalm Death bassist Shane Embury. Arriving fifteen years after the band's self-titled debut, the album is a powerful celebration of classic heavy metal inspired by the music that shaped its creators, drawing from the legacy of Judas Priest, Saxon, Black Sabbath, Dio and the New Wave of British Heavy Metal.

Co-produced by Efemey and Embury, the record combines old-school riffs, memorable melodies and larger-than-life songwriting with a modern energy and attitude. From the rampaging power of the title track, "Saviour" and "Kernschmelze" to the epic grandeur of "Mountain Of Hope" and the atmospheric, psychedelic tones of "Within", the album balances traditional metal strength with a broader sonic palette.

Featuring guest appearances from Tim "Ripper" Owens, Mark Gemini Thwaite, John Cooke and Carl Stokes, "Needs Must When The Devil Drives" stands as a confident and unapologetic statement of classic British heavy metal for a new era: timeless, melodic, powerful and built to be sung along to at maximum volume.
